This Is The New Skoda Citigo
New Skoda Citigo Most striking is the taut little face, making the Citigo in our opinion looks pretty much like the first-generation Toyota Prius . May also lie to us, or the after-lunch dip. Grille and bonnet are slightly bijgepunt and the front bumper and fog seeds.
The interior can weather any encounter with a dashboard that is dressed in more expensive versions with two colors. Also instruments and center console have been reclassified. The engine range consists of two three cylinders: a 1.0 MPI 75 hp and 60 hp diesel. Skoda also optionally provides a 1.0 G-TEC 68 hp in natural gas runs.
If you park the new Skoda Citigo to the current version, you see that the hood, grille and bumper have been adapted for a more modern look. Now the headlights also feature LED daytime running lights. New to the range are silver-anthracite-colored alloy wheels and body color Kiwi Green.
Inside, the high series now feature a two-tone dashboard. The controls, instruments and steering wheel have been updated, while new audio systems are equipped with color screens and various connectivity options.
There is also a Move & Fun app available for iOS and Android smartphones. When you click the smart phone in the holder, a Bluetooth connection to the system is established and can be operated contacts and playlists on your smartphone through the car.
The new Skoda Citigo will be available with two 1.0-liter three-cylinder engines. The 1.0 MPI is a petrol version with 60 hp. The second option is the 68 bhp 1.0 G-TEC CNG that is suitable for dirt-cheap fuel natural gas.
Prices are not yet known. The current Skoda Citigo – in the Netherlands only available as a hatchback – there is from 11,690 euros.
